Total Solutions
At Plasnor, we specialise in working with our customers to co-develop thermoforming solutions. This versatile technology allows us to manufacture custom plastic parts with maximum precision. We also stand out for our flexibility, responsiveness and short lead times.
We specialise in large-sized parts, with moulding capacities of up to 3000 x 2000 x 900 mm. In addition, we work with a wide variety of thermoplastic materials, ensuring the right solution for each application and the desired properties for the final product.
Starting from a sheet of thermoplastic material, we produce high value-added parts through the moulding process in which heat and vacuum pressure are applied: the thermoforming process.
The key to thermoforming’s versatility lies in its ability to work with a wide variety of thermoplastics (ABS, PET, PVC, PP, PC, HIPS, etc.), each with specific properties (impact resistance, transparency, flexibility, chemical resistance, self-extinguishing behaviour, UV resistance, etc.), and in the possibility of creating parts with complex geometries and diverse surface finishes.
Bodywork advantages: custom colours, avoiding subsequent painting
Advantages of thermoforming:
Forestry trays are another sector that increasingly uses thermoformed materials. At Plasnor, we manufacture forestry trays in different dimensions, as well as supports for self-pruning. We have eight models and manufacture them entirely from recycled material. We can also manufacture custom trays according to the customer’s needs and design.
Thermoforming is an extremely versatile manufacturing technique used in multiple sectors, thanks to its ability to mould thermoplastic sheets into complex shapes. Its main areas of application are:
