Plasnor will be at the Caravan Salon Fair in Düsseldorf (Germany), the world’s leading trade fair for caravans and motorhomes. There will be 10 pavilions in total, with 300 exhibitors, from 4 to 13 September.

Arantxa Tapia, Minister for Economic Development and Infrastructures of the Basque Government, and Alex Arriola, General Director of SPRI (Basque business development agency), recently visited the Plasnor production facilities. Both were able to take a closer look at the different projects carried out at the company using extrusion and thermoforming technologies, enabling them to gain a deeper knowledge of the reality of these production processes and the plastics industry.
The new 118.02 regulation of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) obliges the passenger transport vehicle manufacturers replace the material used in the body work building process, replacing standard ABS.
Once again the Plasnor S.L. Company will participate in the Hannover Messe trade show, known as the world´s leading Industrial fair, which will take place in Hannover, from 23th to 27th April. Company’s representatives will attend the visitors by presenting their multilayer plastic sheet extrusion & vacuum thermoforming solutions.
Plasnor participated in the 2017 MetalMadrid Fair, held on 15th and 16th November, where it exhibited different solutions that the company offers for different industrial sectors: Automotive, Bus and Coach Industry, Renewable Energies, Logistics, Cooling…
Plasnor participated in the 2017 Subcontracting Fair which has held in Bilbao from 6 to 8 June. The fair is a benchmark in the industrial subcontracting sector in the Iberian Peninsula, and it is one of the most important in Europe.
The touch of colour at the fair was added by Plasnor, with a colourful stand formed by coloured plates and sheets made at the facilities that the company has in Legazpi (Gipúzcoa). The thermoformed pieces with lively colours used were the truest expression of what Plasnor is: a leading company that is a benchmark in the extrusion and thermoforming sector.
The materials exhibited showed the company´s production capacities in the most graphic way possible: more than 40 years of experience producing plastics, and 70% exports to the five continents, where it is supported by the leading companies in the most cutting-edge sectors. 
The production of Masterbatch or colour concentrates for plastics, co-extrusion lamination and thermoplastic plates, and the design and production of moulds and pieces through thermoforming had a presence at the Plasnor stand. With them, the aim was to put a special emphasis on its options for the Transport Trays, Vehicle Bodywork, Renewable Energy and custom-made project sectors.
The reception from visitors was really good, and the interest they showed is a faithful reflection of the good results obtained by Plasnor at the 2017 Subcontracting Fair.
Plasnor exhibited its products at the 2017 Interzum Fair held in Cologne (Germany) from 16 to 19 April. Interzum is a benchmark world fair and the largest in the Furniture Sector. This year the fair had 69,000 visitors from 152 countries, with 1732 companies from 60 countries exhibiting their products.
The work carried out by Plasnor in the furniture sector over recent years has enabled it to consolidate its position as one of the leading suppliers for this type of applications. Therefore, at the Interzum Fair they had the chance to meet with current and potential clients from all over the world.
At Interzum Plasnor presented its range of Norsan High Gloss products. These are acrylic high gloss sheets that laminated onto an MDF board or plywood make it possible to reach the highest quality high gloss finish.
At the exhibition Plasnor presented the wide range of finishes it offers on its catalogue. The range of products includes more than 30 solid colours, more than five metallics, more than 15 designs and more than eight matte colours. The latest colours, designs and finishes launched were presented at the fair. 
The stand consisted of a metal structure covered with coloured sheets made by Plasnor, which were fitted as a skin. The colour, the high gloss and the mirror effect were highlighted as the main attributes of Plasnor. The company really stood out among the companies that presented themselves in the Norsan High Gloss product category for the furniture sector.
The roll with a marble finish design perfectly evoke the Plasnor slogan: “Advanced Plastic Solution”. Plasnor supplies advanced plastic solutions, but here we are dealing with more than plastic.
The last 23th of December of 2016 Plasnor arranged a lunch for all the staff of the company. The lunch took place in Etxeberri Restaurant, with the purpose of knowing each other a little better and also enjoy the meal in a lovely atmosphere.
This initiative is part of the Company’s Communication Project.
Plasnor is the new sponsor of Sociedad Deportiva Ilintxa in Legazpi. The company and the club sealed a sponsorship agreement for two seasons: 2015-2016 and 2016-2017. Plasnor will be the sponsor of the men´s team in the Preferente league and the women´s team in the Territorial category.
The sponsorship of the teams is a territorial support initiative in order to encourage values such as sport, gender equality and team work.
Sociedad Deportiva Ilintxa is an historic local club that supports up and coming young players and it has always been linked to the town of Legazpi. The team also known as the Equipo Tizonero, was established in the Valle del Hierro in Alto Urola.
